@Polk: McC winning? I hadn't even CONSIDERED it. Hm... Well, it WOULD be hilariously terrifying.

There are many people of here in the U.S. that think she will try to run for office in 2012. Even worse, there are many who are hoping it.
Be afraid indeed.

I would like to add that while no one in OTHER countries may remember her, I certainly will, and not because I support her in any way. It is partially because I cringe at the evangelical Republican party in my country having as much political power as it does. If we have another GW Bush, I may be joining you in Sweden, hope you wouldn't mind some American-born company there...

@Polk: Told you so.
@Justin Joo: How could EVEN A REPUBLICAN be crazy enough to think that she would be an equal match for BO?
@Jared Cormier: Just make sure to bring ye olde polar-bear-hunting-kit, and you'll fit right in!

@ Jakob Burrows
Many people claiming to be Republicans only listen to conservative, Republican themed radio . These radio programs are the ones that are trying to convince people that Obama is a terrorist, Muslim, and/or a socialist.
With people listening to that garbage and only that garbage, they honestly believe that Obama is this horrifying man who is going to destroy the U.S. and take the whole world with it. Ergo, Sarah Palin is now a patron saint of sorts, who was the only thing standing in the way of Obama's fascist regime.

What Justin says is true. I like to know what my foes are up to, so I listen to conservative talk radio, and it is rather disturbing. There is not one host I have heard abstain from saying they "fear for our country." It is not disturbing to hear them say this. It is disturbing to know that imbecilic fellow Americans will hear them and feel true fear. We are a nation of sheep, Jakob, and it is disturbing for those of us who are not.
Also, I feel left out for not having a "J" name.

IF she loses no one will remember. Which is probable.
